Our client is a rapidly expanding Bermuda based Reinsurance Company traded on the New York Stock Exchange with operations globally. To meet the demands of continued growth and diversification there is a requirement for an Integration Specialist/Business Analyst to join their team in Halifax, NS.

The Integration Specialist/Business Analyst will support internal customers to identify, define and validate business needs and establish well defined requirements and specifications to ensure that systems and applications achieve business objectives and meet user requirements. Other responsibilities will include bridging the gap between business and technology demontrating solid understanding of business practices and processes as well as technology capabilities and development.

The ideal candidate for this position will have:
- a minimum of 3 years experience in a business anaysis, integration or developer role
- previous experience in a finance or investments environment would be considered an asset
- post secondary education in Computer Science or equivalent skills and experience
- experience with Great Plains, SQL Server, C#.Net or VB.Net would be considered ideal
- strong attention to detail, communication skills, analytical and problem solving abilities
