Job Description

You will be based in the glamorous downtown Toronto office; working in a desirable office location and environment.
  You
 will be reporting to the Director of Sales in the area of Life Insurance.
 
 As a
 key
 individual to the department you will be reporting to and be supported by the Director.
 


 

Our Client is an MGA so you will have a selection of providers to enhance the services you can deliver, therefore generating more interest and revenue.
  Through the support of the company you are working for you will receive approximately 20 leads per week of which 6
 are qualified leads turning into business for you on average.

Responsibilities

  • As the Life Insurance broker you will be
     developing and closing business.
  • You will be accountable for your activities to ensure a high level of service.
  • Through a pro-active approach you will be formulating improvements and suggestions of services, systems and processes.
Requirements
  • 3 years + experience in the insurance brokerage field.
  • Experience working with different insurance providers; ideally through working with an MGA.
  • Strong understanding of Life Insurance; MGA's, Investments etc (rather than Group insurance).
  • Insurance designations are a must.
  • Developed a book of business.
  • Outstanding written and verbal
     communication skills.
  • Must be conversational and personable with a good command of the English language.
  • Must be confident and reliable, motivated and goal oriented.
  • Motivated by money!
