The Field Casualty Representative will be responsible for the investigation and settlement of large complex claims. While providing quality services you will ensure prompt and equitable settlement of claims in line with corporate policies and standards. You will document all claims by meeting with all involved parties and will obtain the appropriate reports and statements from appraisers, third party adjusters, claimants, witnesses, police and any other pertinent experts to determine liability and coverage. You will also be responsible for negotiations, dispute resolutions, analysis of information gathered and determining when sufficient information has been gathered to close the investigation.
The ideal candidate for this role will possess a minimum of 3 years of casualty claims handling experience and is proficient in verbal and written communications in English and French. With a positive attitude and an ongoing commitment to self development you have your CIP designation or are actively working towards it. A university degree/college diploma is considered an asset.
