Burke & Associates Inc, a division of Ian Martin Ltd., is currently seeking a Human Resources Coordinator for our client; Canada’s largest provider of office supplies and business services, located in Regina, Saskatchewan.

The Human Resources Coordinator provides human resources support to all business units including compensation, associate relations, health and wellness programs and research on human resources projects.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate communication and administration of compensation program, reviews and approves performance counseling recording up to written warning level; creates and maintains headcount reporting for all business units
• Coordinates development of Associate newsletter in conjunction with business unit representatives
• Coordinates Associate Health & Wellness program
• Serves as HR representative on the occupational Health and Safety committee
• Researches, answers and follows-up on daily inquiries from associates on policies, payroll, orientation and benefits
• Conducts new hire harassment training and assists HR Manager with harassment investigations
• Provides support in other HR areas (benefit orientation sessions, exit interviews, recruitment, focus groups) as required

Qualifications:

• Post-secondary education in Business (or related field) with a concentration, major or certificate in Human Resources
• Knowledge of current human rights laws, employment standard acts and other related legislation
• Two to three years Human Resource experience in a fast-paced environment
• Previous management experience in a Call Centre environment an asset
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite of products
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proven organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal and observation skills
