Through our extensive client network, we have a number of openings in various locations throughout the Maritime Provinces for experienced and skilled Human Resource Coordinators.

Reporting to the HR Manager, the responsibilities of the Human Resource Coordinator typically include some or all of the following:

  • Assisting with recruiting and hiring.
  • Orientating new employees.
  • Assisting managers and supervisors with performance management, including employee evaluations, performance improvement, policies and procedures, corrective discipline and conflict resolution.
  • Coordinating all safety-related meetings, programs and initiatives.
  • Maintaining all personnel and HR files.
  • Administering payroll systems and group benefit programs.
  • Providing support to the HR Manager as may be required.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and attributes:

  • A Bachelor's Degree or Certificate in Human Resource Management.
  • At least three (3) years relevant experience in a similar position with comparable responsibilities.
  • Exceptionally strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Exceptionally strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to resolveinterpersonal conflicts.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Strong computer skills, particularly in the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Well organized, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Flexibility, patience, and the ability to multi-task.
  • Integrity and adherence to the strictest standards of professionalism and confidentiality.
