Our client, an engineering and environmental consulting firm, is seeking a Payroll and Benefits Administrator for their Dartmouth office. This is a permanent opportunity.
As a member of the payroll department, you will be responsible for verifying and entering payroll data, responding to employee inquiries, managing employee benefits, payroll journal entries, tax remittances and assisting with other payroll support duties as required.
As the ideal candidate, you have a minimum of one year relevant experience and a solid understanding of payroll processes. Additionally, you have completed or are in the process of completing Level 1 and/or Level 2 of the CPA program. You are proficient in Excel, have proven adaptability and above average attention to detail. With a positive approach, you enjoy working in a thriving team environment. Experience using Ceridian or ADP are considered assets.
