Our client, an internationally recognized manufacturer, located near Kentville, NS, is currently seeking a fulltime Occupational Health Case Manager. The qualified candidate will work as a member of the Occupational Health Service team providing case management and medical or first aid support for the employee population. The Candidate will be required to interact with all levels of personnel in a manufacturing environment of 1200 employees.

Typical duties will include assistance for the pre-placement and on-going physical capacity assessments, stay at/or return-to-work programs, first aid and/or emergency care, WCB claims processing, health education, and vacation relief.

There has been a recent wage rate review for this position.

Typical hours of work are days, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications include:

• 5 years experience as RN, Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist.
• Current relevant professional license.
• Experience in Occupational Health preferred.
• Case Management, Trauma-Physio, &/or Emergency Care experience is a definite asset.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications, database input and running reports.
• Current First Aid, BTLS.
• Knowledge of NS OHS Act.
• Knowledge of WCB legislation.
