Accountabilities:  As a Human Resource Associate you will provide varied human resources administration services. These services include: participating in employee recruitment, selection, and orientation activities; employee file maintenance and ensuring that employee information is current and accurate in our human resource information system; maintaining a client database to track completion of performance management documents, training records and other human resources related records; monitoring attendance records and advising area supervisors of occurrences that trigger the Attendance Awareness program procedure; and ensuring reporting requirements are met by preparing, maintaining, distributing and/or tracking various reports. You will assist other members of the Human Resource team as required. Occasionally, there will be a requirement to travel in the position.

You will be responsible for personal safety and that of co-workers by observing and ensuring compliance with all Occupational Health and Safety Rules and Regulations.

Skills, Capabilities and Experience:  Ideally, you have a certificate/diploma in Human Resources with a minimum of 2 years related human resources experience, but consideration will be given if you have an equivalent combination of education and related experience.  Proven technical skills such as PeopleSoft or other HRIS, MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point) are required. A valid driver's license is a requirement.

Your previous experience managing multiple priorities in a high-volume, deadline-oriented environment has seen you effectively utilize your strong administration, coordination, and time management skills. In addition to your proven communication and interpersonal skills, you also possess flexibility and a strong customer focus. You are proactive, results and team-oriented, possess a high level of energy, and are committed to learning.

This position offers a compensation package commensurate with the role and includes a base salary, incentive, and benefits package.
