| The Ideal Candidate |
As their Intermediate Landscape Architect, reporting directly to the President of the company, you'll be surrounded by people who are passionate about what they do.
You will have strong design skills, be responsible for design development to working drawings, construction contract documents, reports and other duties to assist the planning and design. Design projects can include high-end residential environments, retirement communities, commercial properties, resorts, public gardens, parks, institutional and industrial landscapes.

| Responsibilities |
• Confer with clients, the President and design team to determine project requirements and present results. • Survey and assess sites, develop designs. • Collaborate with the project design teams and take projects from concept to completion. • Prepare and oversee site plans, reports, sketches, models, photos, maps, land use studies and site development master plans. • Prepare and oversee construction cost estimates and tender documents. • Conduct site planning studies, participate in multidisciplinary urban design studies and prepare design guidelines. • Provide inspection and contract administration services of landscape construction work as required. • Assume project management duties in absence of the company's President. • Assist in business development opportunities • Prepare presentations of design alternatives to clients. • Express your strong design skills in both sketch and finished formats. • Maintain an internal project review schedule. |
| Requirements |
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE: • Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Landscape Architecture. • Minimum 3 years experience working on a variety of projects and increasing scales of development. • Supervision experience with staff/consultants engaged in technical work • Strong design skills • Strong organizational and communication skills (verbal and written) • Ability to develop conceptual plans, cost estimates • Ability to create hand and computer generated graphics • Ability to be autonomous but can also work as a team player • Fluent work experience with AutoCAD, and design application software • Possess Full Membership (or be eligible) in the CSLA
