Location: Yarmouth, NS
Type:  Temporary Full-Time
Length Of Time: Approx. 1 Year  

Position Scope:

Responsible for providing Physiotherapy Service to clients/patients referred to the Rehabilitation Services Program. This will include in-patient and out-patient, adult and pediatric caseload. The Physiotherapist will exhibit sound professional judgement and initiative while working within the framework of the objectives of the service and the organization as a whole. Travel within the District will be required and will be paid as per District policy.

Qualifications:

• Candidates must be a graduate of a recognized School of Physiotherapy 
• Candidates must be licensed by the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists
• Current membership in the Canadian Physiotherapy Association
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, while effectively planning, organizing, supervising and communicating both verbally and in writing
• Must be adaptable and flexible to adjust to the changing needs of the service and the program/facility
• Previous experience an asset
