Truro Sawmill (Sproule Lumber) is currently seeking candidates for:
Process Improvement
Responsibilities include participation in selected projects in a high-tech industrial environment, assisting management in the identification of process improvement opportunities, and conducting research and feasibility studies for select projects. Other responsibilities include collecting and analyzing process data, developing and implementing improvement strategies, and implementing controls to monitor improvements (following Six Sigma and LEAN Methodologies). It is preferred that you already have a Green Belt or Black Belt, but training courses can be provided.
An ideal candidate is a self-starter and team-oriented individual possessing a strong work ethic. Post secondary education is an asset. Commitment to top performance in a safe work environment is necessary.
