Reporting to the Director Business Technology-Finance and Business Process you will be responsible to champion the design and rollout of the Finance and Administrative solutions within Sobeys. This will include solutions for all areas in National and Regional Finance, Engineering and Real Estate Management as well as development of improved processes to optimize business process management. Other initiatives include, but are not limited to SAP Functional Releases, SAP Upgrades, and SAP Transformations, and participation in other cross-functional initiatives that require Finance support. You will provide leadership and continuous improvement through training, coaching and mentoring support to the various regions involved in these solutions as well as coordinate business solutions with the IT organization to ensure both business and IT resources are aligned; while at the same time ensuring alignment on a cross-functional basis.
Required:
- University/College diploma or equivalent experience
- 5 years Finance/accounting experience; significant emphasis on control procedures and workflow SAP experience
- Strong leadership and presentation skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills, with proven ability to maintain positive and constructive working relationships with peers and supervisors
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
Preferred:
- Previous project leadership and management experience
- CMA or CGA designation L
