Manager, Business Development and Branch Operations
Located in Antigonish NS, Bergengren Credit Union has an opportunity for an individual who is seeking an exciting and rewarding career as a member of senior management of one of the most successful Credit Unions in Atlantic Canada. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to the CEO in the pursuit of business development, overall general operation and maintenance of all three branches.
The Position:
Reporting to the CEO, the Manager, Business Development and Branch Operations will be responsible for providing overall direction to departments in the three branches and ensuring quality service delivery to customer-owners. The incumbent recommends strategies for monitoring and stimulating profitable growth; develops and revises new and existing operations, programs, products and services, policies and procedures to best meet customer service and credit union goals. The position actively participates at the senior management level in the development and implementation of long term strategic plans.
The Person:
The Manager, Business Development and Branch Operations will have successfully completed a Bachelors Degree with an emphasis in Business plus have six to nine years senior management experience in a financial institution; or equivalent combination of training and experience. The successful candidate will also have the following skill set:
- Demonstrated ability to provide leadership and affect change.
- Ability to multi-task, probe, analyze, and problem solve complex issues and technical problems.
- Demonstrated an exceptional financial acumen and budget management.
- Proven ability in formulating policies and implementing new procedures.
- Proficiency in the use of computer software, including all Microsoft Office Applications.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, planning, coordinating, organizing, and time-management skills.
- Emphasis will be placed on core behavioural competencies: Change Leadership; Building Relationships and Partnerships; Listening, Understanding and Responding; Results Orientation; Team Leadership; Developing Others; and Strategic Orientation.
Compensation:
