Financial Administrative Representative
Our client is a leading capital funding source for the automotive industry, located in the Halifax Regional Municipality. Founded over 20 years ago, their commitment to the success of their customers, employees, and the company have contributed to their expansion into almost 100 locations across North America.
As the Financial Administrative Representative, you will provide front-line financial services to customers in your assigned portfolio. You will be responsible for all customer service and administrative tasks aimed at increasing revenues and minimizing losses. You will handle the technical aspects of loan processing and securing and monitoring loans, and will administer dealer contracts, including processing of credit applications, temporary increases, submitting over line request modifications and term changes, and annual reviews.
This is a part-time position with varying and flexible hours, potentially leading to full-time as the business needs dictate over time. This is a great opportunity for someone wanting to get into financial services at the ground level, or for someone interested in gradually re-entering the work force.
As the ideal candidate, you bring the following to the role:
- Completion of Grade 12 education. Post-secondary education or courses in a related field would be an asset.
- Prior experience in financial services is a strong asset, though not a requirement for a strong candidate who can learn quickly.
- Familiarity with the automotive industry would also be a strong asset, though not a requirement.
- Solid organizational skills, able to balance multiple priorities.
- Keen attention to detail, with a strong numerical aptitude.
- Strong communication skills, able to speak professionally and confidently with all levels of clients.
- Outgoing and dynamic personality; a true people-person
