Our client, a leader in their industry is currently recruiting a Part-Time Customer Account Representative. As a key member of the Sales and Administration Centre, the Customer Account Representative will be the primary contact for customer account inquiries and set-ups.
Key Accountabilities:
- Provide ‘first-call’ resolution for all customer account inquiries
- Maintain data integrity on all customer accounts
- Review tax levels assigned to accounts for compliance with the jurisdiction’s tax guidelines
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with sales staff and field markets (where applicable)
- Good working knowledge of applicable provincial and federal tax guidelines
- Organize and file Tax Exemptions Certifications
Competencies/Qualifications:
- Minimum Grade 12 diploma, preferably with relevant post-secondary training or experience
- Intermediate level Microsoft Office skills are required, particularly with Excel, Word and Outlook, with strong and accurate keyboarding skills
- A demonstrated ability to provide superior customer service is required
- Proven communication skills, both oral and written
- Ability to function professionally, with minimal supervision, to problem-solve efficiently and effectively
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, able to work to, and meet, deadline commitments
- Supportive team player
This position offers excellent compensation and benefits, as well as paid training.
The hours are Monday-Friday, 8:30 am to 8:00 pm. Shifts vary depending on the team.
