Description:

Our client is presently recruiting for Project Engineers to join their team in Saint John, New Brunswick. We are seeking senior level, experienced people, able to manage selected deliverables, while reporting to a Project Manager. The successful applicants will be responsible for general co-ordination activities between design groups, including workshare offices and site office, between construction and engineering.  Project start date is expected to be in May – June 2008, and last up to 36 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates will have minimum of 10 years experience in heavy industry, preferably in oil and gas, co-ordinating major projects.
• Experience in a brownfield environment in a working refinery preferred.
• Previous experience in a refinery turnaround a definite asset.
• Candidate will be a professional engineer, with relevant experience.
• Experience with an EPC company a definite asset.
• Effective communication skills and interaction with other disciplines, field construction team, supporting consultants and clients are essential.
• Good command of the English language is required.
