Sales and Office Coordinator – 12 month contract

Currently we are seeking a Sales and Office Coordinator to enhance the effectiveness of the Branch by coordinating all central support operations and administrative responsibilities. This position is on a 12 month contract basis.
 
General  Duties:

  • Maintain all clients records and effectively manage the functions of daily invoicing, accounts receivable and accounts payable according to the company policies and procedures
  • Responsible for the timely and accurate reporting of invoicing, accounts receivable, accounts payable and distribution of reports to the General Manager, branch accountant and corporate payroll coordinator
  • Perform all functions related to banking and managing petty cash
  • Manage payroll and sales commissions - work with corporate payroll coordinator to ensure accurate and timely processing of company payroll
  • Maintain personnel records ensuring a high level confidentiality and discretion is exercised at all times
  • Answer the telephone and represent the company in a professional and pleasant manor, create a welcoming and pleasant atmosphere for clients and associates.
  • Maintain responsible approach to all security and safety matters related to the operation of SECURIT / Shred - it (i.e. locking of doors and windows, awareness of potential accidents and the protection of integrity of the computer system)
  • Monitor order and replace office supplies inventory

Requirements/Skills:

  • Business administration or College diploma equivalent with 1– 2 years of experience working in office environment
  • Customer service orientation with the ability to build strong relationships with business clients over the phone and in person
  • Strong skills in variety of office software applications including, but not limited to, the Microsoft Office Suite of products. 
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities with a high level of attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal, written and organization skills
  • Excellent attendance and punctuality record
