Position Title: Payroll Administrator, Comprehensive Outsourcing Service (COS) Support Services
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.

Responsibilities:

  • Collects and organizes payroll data input received by fax, email or regular mail, in accordance to the client payroll schedule deadlines for Comprehensive Outsourcing Services (COS) Major/National clients.
  • Inputs all payroll data via terminal (Pay@Work and PaySpecialist) for assigned multiple COS clients, correcting all perceived errors.
  • Verifies that all payroll input data required for processing has been received for clients prior to submission.
  • Records in CRM system and refers client inquiries to appropriate Payroll associate or Payroll Manager, maintaining timely and accurate communications with COS team.
  • May calculate basic net pays; compile data in Excel spreadsheet format.
  • Provides Administrative support for COS associates. i.e. Retrieving voicemail messages for team 
  • Responsible for the Client's Benefit administration.
  • Filing or scanning of completed and verified payroll input, documentation for multiple assigned clients
  • Responsible to achieve Key Performance metrics and ultimately be an integral part in providing quality service through improved Quality surveys.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

  • High school diploma or equivalent business experience (preferably in an office or payroll environment)
  • Detail oriented, high accuracy with figures
  • Intermediate proficiency in PC software with Excel and Word.
  • Work well under pressure
  • Proven ability to work in a team environment
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written and strong customer service skills

Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

  • General understanding of payroll administration, legislation and ADP Canada workflow and Pay@Work and PaySpecialist.
  • CPA level 1
  • Bilingual
