Essential Qualifications and Experience
- College diploma in Business or Technology program, or equivalent
- Two years experience in configuration management, production engineering or document control environment
- Working knowledge of configuration management guidelines and standards
- Familiar with ERP (SAP) material master/product structure an asset
- Proficient in MS Office suite
- Familiar with engineering documentation
- Experience in data management processes beneficial
- Energetic team player with excellent communications, administrative and organization skills
- Must be eligible to meet requirement for U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP) and Canadian government security clearances
Description Of Duties
- Provide technical support for configuration management tasks for assigned programs
- Tasks may include:
- Review, analyze proposed design changes described in approved ARs and prepare ECRs for CCB review and approval
- Prepare, coordinate approval, release and maintain Material Masters in SAP
- Scan, upload approved for release engineering data into CM controlled directories
- Maintain engineering release records, as plan/built logs and program status information
- Schedule, conduct, and follow-up of Change Control Board meetings
- Other general configuration management duties as required.
