The Internal Auditor will be part of a team that provides management and the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors with information and recommendations concerning the corporation’s system of internal controls. Through appraisal and consulting activity, this role will assess the company’s financial activities and operations including systems, production, engineering, marketing and human resources.
As the ideal candidate for this position, you possess…
- A degree in business administration (or related discipline) and a professional accounting designation (CA, CGA or CMA).
- An auditing designation (CIA or CISA) would be a definite asset
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- The ability to work well independently making effective decisions, negotiating with management and displaying strong organization skills
- Self directed, motivated and a “get it done” attitude
