We are looking for a Financial Controller permanently based in Curacao in the Caribbean.

The ideal candidate is someone who:

- Supervise the Internal Administration Department

- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements for the bank and its affiliates in Las Americas on a consolidated basis

- Prepare monthly consolidated chart of account for the Central Bank of the Netherlands Antilles

- Prepare budgets and forecasts

- Liaise with financial controllers of the bank affiliates in Las Americas

- Help maintain the integrity of the financial systems used by the bank

- Communicate with internal and external auditors on a periodic basis

- Perform analyses requested by management

- Participate in bank projects of system automations and enhancements

- Bachelor degree in either Accounting, Finance or Business Administration

- CA, CMA, CGA designation is an asset

- A minimum of 3-5 years relevant work experience

- Excellent planning and organizational skills

- Good analytical and persuasive skills

- Strong communicator, tactful, professional attitude, ability to work independently

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Knowledge of Basel II and IFRS is an advantage

- Knowledge in preparing consolidated chart of account

- Flexible attitude and the ability to work well under pressure

- Must be able and willing to relocate to Curacao, Netherland Antilles in the Caribbean
