Responsibilities:
- Act as a subject matter expert on Accountants and Banks, and lend credibility to the sales process.
- Enhance ADP/ACCT and Banks relationships and generate qualified referrals.
- Develop a strategic business plan with the Director of Sales, which details activities to be followed during the fiscal year which will focus the FI relationships and exceeding quota.
- Research and develop a written analysis of the prospect’s needs. Identify ADP’s ability to service those needs and determine appropriate solutions to meet them.
- At all times transfer ACCT and Banks initiative to sales associates as it relates to selling software solutions. This may include but not be limited to developing and conducting internal training sessions, creating sales letters and any material to ACCT/Banks sales targets.
- Participate in joint sales calls with Sales Associates when significant reciprocal business opportunities appear.
- Design and execute effective product demonstrations that address the challenges raised in the needs assessment.
- On-going development of material to support solutions demonstration in consultation with the sales.
- Attend applicable trade shows and conferences.
- Responsible for daily reconciliation of outstanding ACCT/Banks service issues.
- Attend and participate in weekly Roll Call meetings.
- Provide monthly sales and referral reporting updates to ACCT/Banks.
- Some travel within Ontario is required.
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent in education and related work experience.
- Minimum performance of 100% of plan and on track to meet your full year quota.
- Proven ability to effectively communicate to clients (up to an executive level), peers, team members and management through all available mediums (verbal, listening, writing, presenting). As well as the ability to mediate or negotiate solutions which will exceed client expectations.
- Thorough knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint as well as the Internet.
- Excellent skills at structuring presentations and formats of written material to encourage audience interest and to easily absorb the content.
- Proven ability to read, interview, listen, interpret, and probe to gather key information necessary to address clients needs.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrates ability to establish and maintain effective & constructive relationships with internal/external clients, earning trust & respect through demonstrating a consistent commitment to exceed expectations
- Ability to create clear and concise documentation of pertinent client information.
