The Hardman Group Limited, one of Atlantic Canada’s leading real estate development companies, is seeking a Property Accountant to fill an upcoming maternity leave. The position is expected to last a minimum of 9 to 12 months.
Specific responsibilities include preparation of monthly financial statements and working papers, preparation of bank deposits, assistance in financial analysis and completion of annual budgets. Additional responsibilities include the completion of cheque runs, entering of accounts payable invoices and posting of cash receipts.
As the ideal candidate, you have post-secondary education in accounting and / or a minimum of two years experience in this capacity. You possess strong analytical, organizational, written and communication skills and are able to work well both individually and as a team player in a fast-paced environment. You are proficient in all Microsoft Office applications and have demonstrated data entry skills. A willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities is essential.
Salary will be commensurate with education and experience.
