POSITION SUMMARY
The successful candidate will be part of growing and distributed Product Delivery team with Development and Test Teams in Canada and across the US.  As a member of the Unified Communications and Collaboration (UCC), Development Integration Team, you will have the opportunity to support the Development and Test of complex Mobile Voice Systems technology and solutions helping to ensure that the products we deliver meet or exceed the mission critical expectations of our Enterprise customers.  
RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate's responsibilities will include:
  • Supporting Scrum Development Teams in the resolution of software integration issues
  • Contributing to on-going improvement and management of the Continuous Integration Framework used by the Scrum Development Teams
  • Integrating new tools and deploying them across the Scrum Teams
  • Investigating and resolving code integration and build issues
  • Coordinating official software builds and hand-off between Development and Test
  • Contribute to the development and monitoring of software development processes across the Scrum Development Teams
  • Effective communication across the Cross Functional Teams and within the team through reporting of status and providing input into risk management
  • Taking initiative to identify areas for process and tool improvement

Qualifications

 
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's Degree in a computer-related discipline
  • Proven experience of 2 or more years in a research and development environment
  • Experience with revision control systems in a concurrent development environment; specifically experience with: branching integrating/merging and reverting code
  • Experience with Java
  • Experience with Ant or Maven and writing and maintaining related build scripts
  • Experience with one or more scripting languages
  • Proactive in the identification of work enhancements and process improvement, capitalizing on creativity and innovation
  • Demonstrable analytical and problem solving skills
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and creative with a questioning mind
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
  • Ability to work under tight timelines
ADDITIONAL ASSETS
·          Experience with Continuous Integration Tools such as Hudson
·          Strong knowledge of and experience with Perforce
·          Experience with perl
·          Experience automating test suites
·          Experience generating automated reports for wide cross section of project stakeholders
·          Working knowledge of  Agile Scrum methodologies
