Position: Manager – Technical Service and Sales
Digicon Building Control Solutions Limited is a Building Systems Integration company providing automated control solutions for comfort control, security monitoring, and energy management in commercial and institutional properties.
Role/Responsibilities:
- Promote and sell services
- Organize and manage technical team
- Organize and manage internal customer support/service process
- Manage department budgets
- Report to General Manager
- Promote continuous improvement and efficiency for process and technologies
- Proactively solicit customer input and feedback on service offerings
- Work with a sense of urgency to resolve issues
- Serve as technical resource for systems and products
Qualifications:
This opportunity is best suited for an individual having knowledge and experience in relationship sales and service management. The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications.
Technical Skills and Experience:
- 5+ years experience, knowledge and understanding of building systems. (Preference given to candidate with technical diploma or degree, training/knowledge in Security Systems and/or HVAC)
- 5+ years hands- on experience, preferably in a commercial building environment or related setting
- Computer literacy including:
- Broad understanding, experience and training in systems programming (HTML, C++, or other high level language - Preference given to MSCE designation)
- Solid foundation and experience in computer networks, MS Windows operating systems.
- Proficiency in MS Suite of applications: Outlook, Excel, Power Point, Word. Working knowledge of AutoCad or similar.
- Proven aptitude for learning and working with various computer applications
Leadership and Management Competencies and Experience:
- A high energy, service orientated, proactive, self starter and strategic thinker who can effectively balance customer needs and achieve business goals
- Proven ability to successfully manage budgets, people and resources and achieve business results in an industrial setting
- Resourceful, well organized, and process orientated, with a keen ability for gathering and utilizing management information to monitor, track and make timely decisions
- An assertive leader, with a proven track record for training, mentoring and developing new and inexperienced employees
- A strong communicator (both verbal and written), negotiator and effective problem solver
- Customer focused with a proven track record building solid long term customer and vendor relationships
- Experienced using needs-based selling techniques to identify, customize and deliver service sales solutions. Proven track record
- Team orientated with a proven ability to build solid working relationships within an organization
- Positive and supportive attitude
- A good sense of humour, patience and understanding, dedication and commitment
- Open and honest in your opinions, able to constructively contribute to the debate
