We are currently seeking a full-time Graphic Designer in our Advertising Department at EastLink in Halifax. 

Reporting to the Production Manager, EastLink Advertising this individual will be required to conceptualize and produce ad designs in a fast paced deadline driven environment. A commitment to producing a quality product is essential.  They are required to work effectively on their own or in a team environment, communicating with our internal & external customers to establish the nature and content of the design. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize and produce designs
• Gathering creative material
• Ensure quality control
• Maintaining production database
• Interact with internal & external clients when needed
• Keep current on work related skills and all aspects of production workflow

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Graphic Design, with at least 2 years working experience in this field
• Proficient with Adobe Production Suite (CS4); Photoshop; Illustrator; After Effects; Premiere and Flash
• Must have graphic design experience in all aspects of multi-media design
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
