Junior/Intermediate Interactive Designer

VERB Interactive, located in downtown Halifax, is in search of a Junior/Intermediate Interactive Designer who can translate strategy and goals into unique and effective Web user experiences. The candidate should be forward thinking, hard working, positive and innovative. Positive attitude and willingness to push the envelope is a must

Responsibilities:

• Design online advertising creative, graphical user interfaces, interface treatments, and HTML email promotions for Web sites,
• Provide excellent visual and functional design of Web sites and Web applications, and meet client needs and expectations

Recommended Experience:

• A degree/diploma from a recognized design school or college
• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in Web site design
• Proficient with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, & Dreamweaver
• Flash animation and ActionScript experience considered a plus.
• Comprehensive understanding of interactivity and the Internet
• Strong design portfolio of Internet related creative a must – required with application
• Well organized and attention to detail
• Experienced in collaborating with other creative and technical people
