We are currently sourcing a SharePoint Development Lead (Future Opening)

We are looking for a talented and experienced SharePoint Development Lead that would be willing to help us grow our CGI SharePoint Center of Excellence. This is a very exciting position within the Atlantic Global Delivery Center and will allow you to bring your enthusiasm and knowledge to CGI.

The role will suit technical and consultant resources with a deep understanding of using the Microsoft platform to solve business problems, in particular around Office and Windows SharePoint Services (WSS) 3 / SharePoint 2007 (MOSS), as well as earlier versions of those products.

Experience/Skills:

  • Minimum 3 years Microsoft SharePoint experience
  • Strong knowledge of SharePoint Portal
  • Strong knowledge of IIS including Virtual servers under SharePoint
  • Strong knowledge of SQL Server (2000, 2005)
  • Strong knowledge of SharePoint Search and design of search
  • Strong knowledge Portal layouts, design of content databases
  • Strong knowledge of Self Site Creation, Portal Security Roles, web part installation, inherited rights, Quotas, Retention periods
  • Strong knowledge of SP admin tools for backup and restore of sites
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems
