Experienced Web Developers

We move very, very very fast!, solve complex problems and face a rapidly changing industry where we push out the envelope every day. We need people with an opinion who are not afraid to challenge others and are not offended by being challenged either. If you consider yourself to be a geek at heart and/or if you had a home made BSD file server / router in your closet when you were 9 then we might have the right environment for you :)

Responsibilities:

• Develop advanced web based applications
• Perform usability testing on interfaces and web applications
• Contribute technical leadership to the engineering team, including best practices and processes that enable the team to continually improve productivity and quality of product delivery
• Contribute directly to the project roadmap and growth of the company
• Work on advanced software development projects for the web.
• You will be working with a Mac OS within the Eclipse development platform (We are an All Mac shop)

Qualifications:

• 3 years minimum experience coding in a production environment
• Must have very object-oriented design skills
• 2-3 years in JAVA (GWT) or LAMP (with focus on PHP5/MySQL)
• Expert with Java (GWT) or PHP5 (+JavaScript / CSS / MySQL / AJAX)
• Strong problem solving / analytical skills. You will be working with a highly qualified team and you must be able to keep up with our pace and help increase it.
• Should have excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Should have start-up experience at a fast-growing consumer web company 

Special consideration given to candidates who have:

• Google App Engine Experience (GWT)
• Python & Java Experience 
• Server setup & support experience 
• Experience scaling and supporting large LAMP applications 
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent 
• Masters or PhD 
• Experience developing Google applications 
• Experience developing software under a PHP framework such as Zend. 
• Strong practical knowledge of web application security
