We are currently looking for a Senior Security Architect to work with our IT Security team.
As a Senior Security Architect you will:
- Develop and maintain information security policies, architectures and standards
- Define business requirements and continuous improvement opportunities for enterprise information security
- Manage a diverse team of talented Consultants while coaching them to their highest potential
- Cultivate relationships with clients and posses a strong knowledge in leveraging prevalent methodologies
- Employ a structured approach to project management to ensure complete client satisfaction and project profitability
- Develop your expertise in a specialization and your reputation as a business advisor
- Contribute to practice growth and development
- Participate in the creation and completion of proposals
Requirements include:
- The successful candidate must meet one of the following:
- University undergraduate degree and a minimum of 6 years experience in designing / defining IT network, system architectures security and technical requirements.
- College Diploma and a minimum of 7 years experience in designing / defining IT network, system architectures security and technical requirements.
- A minimum of 8 years experience in designing / defining IT network, system architectures security and technical requirements.
- Previous Federal Government experience
- Must be able to obtain Canadian Government Security Clearance
- Ability to provide project summaries that will show the following areas of expertise:
- Application of architectural methods, frameworks, and models such as TOGAF, US government FEAP, Canadian government BTEP and GSRM
- Experience applying a broad range of security technologies including multiple types of systems and applications architectures, and multiple hardware and software platforms.
- Secure IT architectures, standards, communications, and security protocols such as IPSec, HTTP, FTS, Telnet
- Understanding the significance and implications of market and technology trends in order to apply them within architecture roadmaps and solution designs.
- Experience with Best practices and standards related to the concept of network zoning and defense in-depth principles.
- Preparation of technical reports such as requirement analysis, options analysis, technical architecture documents.
- Experience in briefing senior managers.
- Knowledge of computing and networking including Microsoft technologies, client-server, web-based application, directory services, identity management, digital rights management, encryption and certificate services, secure email and Internet computing, LAN/WAN, servers, workstations, routers, firewalls, databases.
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to deliver the full cycle of project management accountabilities
- Previous consulting experience
Assets will include:
- Post graduate degree in relevant field
- Professional designation such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, GIAC
- Possession of Canadian Government Security Clearance Level II (Secret)
- Bilingual (French & English)
