Overall Objective and Purpose:

Responsible for Configuration Management and installations of software applications for all internal and external projects. Assists in the evaluation of new technologies, design, benchmarks, test and implementations.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for version control of software source code and software applications. Tracks all configuration and software releases to all project/product/APL systems.
• Assists in the development of training materials for new and existing technology.
• Takes part in delivery/project/product team meetings representing the IE group.
• Takes part in delivery/project/product team meetings representing the IE group.
• Creates and maintains build, package and deployment process.
• Updates, maintains and resolves issues with the product/project integration as required.
• Maintains environments for trouble free operation for development and production systems during project/product phases.

Education:

• Bachelor of Computer Science or related discipline. Equivalent education and experience will be considered.

Experience:

• 1-3 years of practical system integration experience or equivalent
• Essential special training requirements
• Must have a general understanding of ES products. 
• User level experience in VMS, UNIX and AIX operating systems, DB2, SQL experience preferred
• Ability to multitask and communicate with project/product team members.
• Shell scripting, dcl commands and knowledge of JAVA, C and C++ is a plus.
• Must possess a good understanding of development process and technology.
• Must be able to work with multiple teams and personalities to ensure end to end integration of products.
