Senior Account Manager
Our client, an international leader in information processing between the digital and paper medium, is seeking a Senior Account Manager in various locations throughout Canada (Ottawa, Calgary and Vancouver).
Responsibilities:
- Calling on existing and potential clients to achieve annual sales objectives
- Prospecting, identifying and developing new business opportunities; penetrating new markets
- Selling hardware and print solutions to Fortune 500 accounts in one of the above regions
- Selling through the national and independent reseller network; responsible for demand generation and solutions-based selling activities
- Completing call reports and forwards to head office
- Monitoring and reporting competitive activity
Experience and Education:
- 3 – 5 years of sales progressive end user hardware sales experience
- Expert knowledge of the sales cycle and strategic solutions sales techniques
- Experience selling to the C-level
- Ability and desire to thrive in a competitive environment
- Excellent negotiation and organizational skills
- Expert knowledge in all MS Office programs
- Proven track record in competitive selling and account planning/management in the technology field (preferably printer/copier industry)
- Experience opening up new accounts and driving a high volume of sales activities
- Understanding PC and network concepts and the capability to apply these skills to assess client needs and deliver effective solutions
- Willingness to travel when required
- Bilingual – French and English a major asset
