The Position:

Reporting directly to the President & CEO, you take the lead on all marketing and business development strategies and initiatives in support of Pilot's and its clients long-term goals.

Responsibilities:

• Serves as a member of the senior management team, acting as a business leader with strong emphasis on marketing, business development, sales and relationship building.
• Leads development of all marketing strategies, action plans and campaigns.
• Leads market research efforts.
• Leads development, execution and ongoing evaluation of a comprehensive business development strategy.
• Actively seeks, researches, develops, qualifies and closes new business opportunities.
• Leads relationship-building strategies and approaches with both new and long-term clients.
• Leads proposal and presentation development.
• Represents the Pilot brand to clients and the public.

Requirements:

• Executive-level experience with a minimum of 10 years in at least two of the following: business development, marketing and/or sales; agency experience preferred.
• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in business or marketing; MBA or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Solid understanding of Pilot's business profile, including its products, client base, service range, technologies and potential markets.
• Proven leadership skills and demonstrated track record of success.
• Strong, well-developed networks.
• Superior interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of new and emerging technologies and tools and their potential to transform marketing.
• Excellent speaking, writing and listening skills.
• Ability to manage, motivate and mentor staff.
