Our client, a leader in public accounting, provides industry focused assurance, advisory and tax services for public, private and government clients in all markets and as a result of high demand in the tax department they are seeking a Senior Tax Manager for their Halifax, NS location.

Responsibilities:

• Provide timely and high-quality services
• Help develop and guide staff and other junior tax professionals by providing effective coaching
• Build technical competence
• Proactively seek opportunities to provide tax services
• Build strong client relationships

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• Professional Accounting Designation
• Both In-Depth I & II tax courses
• Minimum 7 years relevant tax experience
• Broad exposure to federal income taxation
• Excellent managerial, organizational and communication skills
