Position Title: Social Media Video Specialist

Radian6 is a software company specializing in social media monitoring solutions.  Our technology provides real-time identification, analysis and tracking of topics, issues and trends as they develop across any form of social media including blogs, videos, micro-blogging, shared images etc.
 
Radian6 is currently recruiting an experienced Social Media Video Specialist.

Job Responsibilities Include:

1. Collaborate with the marketing and community team to write and edit creative video scripts (see http://www.radian6.com/what-we-do/ and http://www.radian6.com/convenience-store-chain/ );
2. Direct, shoot and edit video for use primarily on the web;
3. Co-ordinate with external resources when additional equipment and resources are required as well as studio time;
4. Work with the Training Content Manager on the development of product training videos.  This will require becoming somewhat of an expert on the various features, use cases and benefits of our platform;
5. Occasional travel to various social media events in North America to shoot interviews or special events;
6. Work with amateur video shot by staff at events to professionally edit into event overviews or other projects;
7. Source various locations and actors for shoots;
8. Co-ordinate with Producer on all video projects, managing time and resources to ensure a cost effective and efficient operation; and
9. Pitch ideas on new video projects at the weekly production meeting.

Job Requirements:

1. 3+ years of video experience related to the job description;
2. Creative writing skills;
3. The ability to quickly learn;
4. Demonstrated ability to work in a very fast paced environment;
5. Demonstrated resourcefulness and ability to get things done on time, on budget and with great production value;
6. Demonstrated aptitude and awareness for producing for the web.  Must be current on the various approaches that work in this environment;
7. Active in social media and social networking;
8. Demonstrated excellence in all aspects of video production;
9. Has a video portfolio of work that demonstrates creativity and an understanding of marketing;
10. Is a natural storyteller; and
11. Is able and willing to take direction, collaborate and work in a team environment.
