The Project Manager delivers software engineering projects across the organization. The successful candidate will develop the project strategy, including planning and scheduling to ensure that all necessary components and deliverables will be met. The Project Manager plans, organizes, leads, and monitors the activities of cross-functional project teams while maintaining overall control of the schedule and committed deliverables, seeking executive guidance and approvals as necessary.

Other duties of the Project Manager include working with teams in resolving discrepancies, removing or mitigating roadblocks, acting on issues of non-compliance, and facilitating communication among all project stakeholders. Ensuring effective tracking of outstanding deliverables, milestones, and change requests also falls within the project manager's role, as does providing regular status updates to project stakeholders, along with ensuring ISO compliant processes are followed within project teams. The Project Manager's role is both strategic and tactical in focus, with broad contact and coordination with a variety of teams across RIM.
