Senior Solutions Architect

The Senior Solutions Architect is responsible for delivering the overall design for large scale multi-domain projects. As the end-to-end design lead for the solution, this individual is responsible for interpreting complex business requirements, coordinating the collection of non-functional requirements and articulating appropriate architectures to support the requirements, resulting in a blueprint for the system.  The Senior Solutions Architect is a generalist in a wide a variety of technologies including Business Intelligence, integration and web development.

Position Requirements:
Required Skills:

• University degree in the field of computer science, information systems or software engineering, and/or 10+ years equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 3+ years in a leadership role responsible for the technical delivery of end-to-end solutions.
• Assist with leading, coaching, mentoring, and coordinating other architects, analysts and subject matter experts during implementation
• Review project solution deliverables for architectural quality. Ensure that the business solution proposed is compliant with the stated quality and content requirements (perform and document gap analysis against stated requirements)
• Assist with preparation and review of end-state solution documentation
• Work with the Enterprise Architect to ensure that the project solution is consistent with overall Enterprise Architecture models, principles, guidelines, and standards
• Identify areas of risk related to solution architecture and provide mitigating recommendations
• Conduct quality reviews of key solution components
• Coordinate the resolution of outstanding issues
• Consult with other project and support teams to ensure that the project solution continues to be properly integrated with other applications
• Support the Implementation team with change management planning, resource planning, and managing the project team through implementation
• Past experience with web development, integration, and reporting tools, technologies, and approaches.Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
