Assistant Manager - Clinic Services – Part Time or Full Time

Position Summary:

Under the direction of the Manager, Clinic Services, the Assistant Manager is responsible for providing direct supervision of employees working in the Moncton Clinic. The incumbent is responsible for providing the Manager assistance in the planning, preparation, implementation and evaluation of assigned clinics and controlling all collection activities and resources at those clinics.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages, directs and oversees clinic staff performing clinic duties and activities to ensure compliance with standard policies and procedures.
  • Ensures Clinic Operations services conform to all regulatory, medical, and customer service requirements and support collection targets.
  • Ensures each clinic is planned, organized and delivered to provide for safe, efficient, and cost effective blood collection.
  • Ensures the needs of the donor, volunteer, and public are met by all members of the clinic team.
  • Performs administrative duties as required.

Qualifications: 

  • A post-secondary diploma or undergraduate degree in Nursing.
  • Registration or eligibility for registration with the Nurses Association of New Brunswick.  
  • Three years of supervisory experience of both professional and non-professional staff preferred.
  • Experience with clinic management and blood collection is an asset.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) in English and French are essential.
  • Good planning, organizing, interpersonal and analytical skills are required.
  • Strong multitasking skills with the ability to work in a rapidly changing environment
  • Excellent MS Office skills an asset
  • Travel will be a requirement
