Client Services Attendant

Reporting to the Health Services Manager, the Client Services Attendant will provide direct care to clients. We have positions open in our Traditional Retirement Living residence, Special Care Residence or new to open Nursing Home in February 2010.

Various shifts available, Full time, Partime and Casual positions.

Responsibilities of the position will include:

• Primarily responsible for assisting in the delivery of individualized health services to each client.
• Works to provide necessary services as outlined in the individualized care plans for all clients, primarily focused on the clients requiring assisted living.
• Works as part of the interdisciplinary care team consisting of the Resident Services Manager, Dietary Staff and Housekeeping staff.

We require:

• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Home Support or Personal Care Worker or equivalent education an asset.
• Previous experience in working with the elderly in retirement living or senior's environment an asset.
• CPR Certification an asset.
• Alzheimer's Care Course an asset.
• Food Handlers Course an asset.
