Pharmaceutical Distribution - AQPIC
(Assistant Qualified Person In Charge)

(Sunday to Thursday)

We have a full-time opportunity with our evening Outbound Production shift for the right candidate. You will be involved in assisting with all aspects of pharmaceutical, controlled and/or restricted drug distribution and assisting the supervision of picking, packing and processing of products for our Moncton DC operation. 

Candidates must hold a recognized university degree, accredited in Canada in either chemistry, biochemistry, pharmacology, pharmacy, microbiology, chemical engineering, medicine, dentistry or veterinary medicine. (Your qualifications must be approved by Health Canada.)

The position involves supporting the qualified person in charge in the following areas:

  • Ensure inventory accuracy through established cycle count programs.
  • Maintain records in such form so that an Inspector can conduct an audit at any time from the Bureau of Dangerous Drugs. 
  • Ensure that all products meet quality control standards.
  • Adhere to all applicable federal, provincial, and company GMP regulations.
  • Ensure that security systems are operational and checked frequently.
  • Submit monthly reports of sales of certain narcotics.
  • Ensure that all labels comply with labeling requirements as outlined by statute.
  • Ensure that all containers comply with legislation with respect to tamperproof seals for exempted codeine products.
  • Ensure that all drugs are shipped in compliance with Statute Regulations.
  • Respond to inquiries (verbal and written) from the Bureau of Dangerous Drugs.
  • Report any losses or pilferage of narcotics or controlled drugs to the Bureau of Dangerous Drugs within 10 days.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Detail oriented and accurate.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills. 
  • Computer literate with strong excel skills.
  • Ability to track information, analyze statistics, monitor trends and conduct analysis.  
  • Previous experience leading and directing a team.
  • Previous experience with warehouse distribution and Warehouse Information Systems would be considered an asset.
