Founded in 1900, Scotsburn Dairy Group is the largest Atlantic Canadian-owned processor and distributor of fresh quality dairy products and ice cream.  Scotsburn Dairy is currently seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to assume an exciting position in their St. John's office.

Reporting to the Director of Operations, this newly created position is responsible for human resource functions throughout the Newfoundland operations including: managing the recruitment process, assisting with effective labor relations, facilitating return to work programs and providing guidance in grievance and discipline process. The Human Resources Manager will also play a key role in coordinating training and development, reporting on key HR measures, providing support in health and safety and coordinating the employee family assistance program.

We seek a candidate who has experience in a human resource role, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting. Excellent communication ability and strong decision making skills are essential for success in this position. Previous exposure to a unionized environment is considered an asset. You are passionate about the impact that effective human resources programs have on a company's success and you are ready to step into action and implement such programs for Scotsburn in Newfoundland.
