Glendenning Golf operates an 18 hole golf course with on-course food service, 80 person clubhouse lounge and 250 person banquet facility.
We are looking for an energetic and dynamic person for the role of Food Services Manager. The successful candidate will be a hands-on manager, will be expected to prepare and cook food, be able to train and supervise staff and manage the back end of the food and beverage operations.
Responsibilities will include:
- Responsibility for the day to day operations of the kitchen
- Managing food and labour costs
- Training and coaching kitchen staff
- Ensuring all food handling, health and safety standards are implemented and enforced
The successful candidate must have:
- Minimum three to five years experience in food/hospitality industry as a cook or chef
- Experience with food and labour costing
- Exceptional organizational skills and time management skills
- Self-motivated and be able to motivate team
- Excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent work ethic
