Public Relations Counsel

As an essential part of a multi-disciplinary client service team based in St. John's, you will be responsible for providing strategic client counsel, and for developing and implementing results-oriented communications programs. This position requires experience in both public relations and public affairs. Experience in crisis communications, media relations, strategic communications planning, and stakeholder relations is essential. Attention to detail, organizational skills, the ability to multi-task, and initiative are essential for this growth oriented position.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Building effective, positive relationships with clients 
• Creating effective strategic communications plans 
• Providing innovative solutions in all public relations disciplines 
• Consistently deliver superior programs on time and within budget 
• Understanding of business practices, markets and trends 
• Developing budgets, work plans and realistic timetables 
• Providing sound strategic direction to clients 
• Possessing strong written and verbal communication and excellent presentation skills 
• Proactive, self-motivated analytical thinker

Minimum Qualifications:

You must have appropriate education, plus a minimum of 8+ years experience in a public relations role. We believe that the attributes of the best people aren't just found on a resume.
