Clerk IV (4 Positions)
Temporary, Part-Time, On-Call, Casual
Reporting to the Human Resources Consultant (Central Staffing), the primary purpose of this position is to provide temporary replacement staff to city hospital departments and programs within Eastern Health, as required, in accordance with the applicable collective agreements. The incumbent will work relatively independently, with the Human Resources Consultant available to provide advice and direction.
Qualifications:
Graduation from high school or equivalent, a minimum of a two-year business/office administration program and considerable clerical experience (preferably as it relates to Human Resources) are required. Courses and proficiency in database management, word processing and other computer applications is required. The successful candidate should possess excellent communication, customer service and organizational skills and must have considerable experience meeting deadlines, while maintaining a high level of productivity, accuracy and efficiency. A typing speed of 45 wpm is required. Candidates possessing an equivalent combination of experience and training may be considered. A satisfactory record of work performance and attendance is also required.
Salary: In accordance with the Management Support Pay Scale ($35,215.28 - $39,001.05 per annum)
Hours of Work: Temporary, Part-Time, On-Call, Casual; Based upon the needs of the department.
