Reliability Engineer
Competition No. 08-06-CB

Reporting to the Planning and Reliability Superintendent, the Reliability Engineer will be the continuous improvement specialist for his/her area.   Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Adhere to, and promote company safety and environmental policies.
• Maintain all lost time and lost rate databases.
• Review data collection activities for efficiency, accuracy and effectiveness, and implement and/or recommend changes.
• Promote the benefits of a reliability maintenance process and reliable equipment.
• Maintain the continuous improvement project priority list and work with the Reliability Team to ensure tasks are completed.
• Supervise specific maintenance work that requires higher technical competencies.
• Develop and maintain decision matrix and strategic action plans.

Applicants should possess a Bachelor of Engineering, Mechanical preferred, and have two years experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Engineering experience as a reliability or rotating equipment specialist with an understanding of vibration analysis would be an asset.  Essential job requirements include an ability to prioritize, plan and organize; strong communication and interpersonal skills; and proficiency in computers, particularly the Microsoft Office Suite, and statistical analysis programs.
