New opening for the following position:

CNC Programmer / Operator

Salary: To be negotiated, dependent on experience.

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible  

Skill Requirements:

Education: Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training

Credentials (certificates, licences, courses, etc.):, CNC programmer, Master Cam Programming

Experience: 5 - 10 years

Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English

Work Setting: Conventional machining, CNC Machining, Manufacturing, Tool & Die, Jigs and Fixtures

Type of Machine Experience: CNC lathes and Milling Machines,

Measuring Tools: Micrometers, Calipers, Gauges

Specific Skills: The successful candidate should possess strong programming skills on both CNC lathes and milling machines. Have the ability to work within tight tolerances, and an overall attitude of "quality first". This person will need to be confident in his/her skills, and have the ability to work on projects with a team as well as alone. Experience working in an ISO 9001-2000 environment would also be an asset. This candidate should be flexible in working evening shifts when required to meet the deadlines of our customers.

Security and Safety: Bondable

Own Tools/Equipment: Tools, Steel-toed safety boots

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Tight deadlines

Work Site Environment: Non-smoking, ISO Standards
