We are currently searching for a seasoned HR professional to join our team in the role of Regional Manager of Human Resources.  Based in Halifax, NS, the Regional Manager of Human Resources is responsible for leading and coaching a Human Resources team of six (6),  in support of approximately 700 employees.

As a "hands-on" leader, and the senior HR professional at Casino Nova Scotia, you will guide the HR function to provide full scope human resources services, including: employee/labour relations, performance management, training and development, attraction and retention, succession planning, compensation and benefits, employee wellness and safety. You will also work closely with the General Manager and other members of the senior leadership team to ensure that HR solutions and initiatives are strategically aligned with business needs and effectively implemented.

Qualifications:

• Post secondary education in HR or a suitable combination of education and experience
• Minimum of 5 years experience in Human Resources management
• Prior experience leading a Human Resources function
• CHRP and additional Human Resource designations would be considered assets including: Certified Employee Benefits Specialist, Registered Professional Recruiter, Certified Payroll Assistant, etc.
