Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Principal Investigator (PI) and/or the Research Manager, the Research Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of research projects conducted within Capital Health. This coordination includes the administration of the Cardiology study / clinical trials, caring for the subjects participating in the study and the management of documents and data collected throughout the study period.
Qualifications:
* Degree or diploma in Nursing
* Current registration with CRNNS
* Minimum of two years nursing experience
* Experience working in Cardiology, preferred
* Demonstrated experience coordinating clinical trials preferred
* CCRP (Certified Clinical Research Professional) an asset
* Ability to function independently and as part of a team and be able to establish priorities
* Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills
* Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint), email and internet
Hours of Work:
* Long Assignment Full-Time Position; 75 hours biweekly
* Beginning March 3, 2008 until March 2, 2009
* May be required to do evening and weekend call and will be required to carry a pager
Salary: Research Coordinator:
$24.50666 - $30.63343 Hourly
