Coordinator/Trainer

Our office is growing and as a result we are currently looking for a Coordinator/Trainer to join our Learning and Development team in our Center for Excellence in Charlottetown, PEI.

Reporting to the Learning Centre Manager the Coordinator/Trainer will be responsible for managing the logistical arrangements of one component of Ceridian's training centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Administering and maintaining the learning management system
  • Creating and distributing communications about upcoming training opportunities
  • Providing customer service to clients who contact the learning centre
  • Registering employees for programs
  • Preparing detailed reports on training initiatives
  • Providing administrative support to create and maintain training calendars and materials
  • Delivery of development programs to health sector
  • Participating in the assessment of individual and organizational learning needs
  • Measure and modify learning delivery systems to meet maximum impact and efficiency
  • Delivering key training initiatives within the health sector, namely first-aid and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI)

As the ideal candidate you will have a bachelor's degree or diploma in adult education, health sciences or related area along with 3-5 years training experience and a strong background in learning management systems.  You will be an innovative problem solver who is highly focused on customer service and thrives in a fast paced culture.  Excellent presentation and communication skills as well as strong classroom management skills are required.  Preference will be given to candidates who are certified trainers of First Aid and NVCI.
