Our client has over 15 years experience in the aerospace industry. With recent growth, they are in need of a Machinist to join their team.

Essential Responsibilities:

Responsible for setting up and operating a variety of machine tools to cut or grind metal, plastic or other materials to make or modify parts or products within precise geometric tolerances.

Skills Required:

• Ability to read and understand Component Maintenance Manuals and Service Literature.
• General knowledge of process related functions within the facility.
• Understand applicable Transport Canada Civil Aviation Regulations.
• Must have good manual dexterity and hand eye co-ordination.
• Knowledgeable in computer systems associated with the operations of the AMO.
• Ability to use specific measuring equipment and have the ability to set up and operate a variety of  machine tools.
